How to Manifest Your Dream Assignment

How to Manifest Your Dream Assignment

What would it feel like to manifest your dream assignment? Perhaps you would like to lead a group retreat in Bali, write for a travel magazine, or maybe get paid to travel the world as a speaker or entertainer on a cruise ship?

Do you realize that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world of imagination, thoughts, and beliefs? This knowledge gives you the ability to shift your thoughts and manifest your dream assignment.

Imagine not being boxed in by your business or career. Even if you are passionate about what you do, you can fall into the trap that there is only one way or place to provide your service or only certain people you can serve. This is simply not true.

Begin thinking about and creating your very own dream assignment. The way to do this is to get a very clear picture of what you want, to get into the excitement and feeling of what you want, see it happening, and then relax and allow the people and opportunities to come to you.

Follow these steps and you will be living your dream assignment in the near future:

Get Clear You are creating your very own dream assignment, so get into the nitty-gritty details. The more detailed you become the more you will get into the vibration of what you want and it will begin manifesting in that very moment. Think about why you want to have this particular dream assignment. Make sure it is what you really want and not something you heard about or an assignment someone else created. Remember, you have the ability to create anything you want even if it never existed before. Why do you want it? How do you want to feel when you have it? What does YOUR dream assignment look like?

Write it Down Putting your dream assignment on to paper makes it real and puts you into the feeling of what you want.  Where are you? Is it an island in the Caribbean, a cabin by the lake in the mountains, an apartment in Paris, or a farm house in Italy? What service are you providing? Perhaps it’s a new twist on something you already do or a new service that you are introducing. Who are you serving? Do you see yourself face to face with individuals or in a group setting? Are they men, women, teenagers, families or a combination of different people? What sounds do you hear in the background? Is it the rustle of palm trees, the crashing of waves, or the hustle and bustle of a city alive with energy? How much money are you making? See the check or figure deposited into your account. Remember, details, details, and more details.

Stay in the Feeling All of those things you thought about writing down got you really excited, didn’t they? That is the purpose of the writing, to get you into the feeling. When you are in the feeling you are manifesting, which means everyone and everything that you need to make your dream assignment a reality is on it’s way to you. Don’t let some negative Nellie or your own inner critic pull you out of this feeling. All you have to do is feel good, stay in that feeling, and know that it is on it’s way!

Be Open to Opportunity The people, circumstances, and events that are all part of your creation may come in ways you were never expecting. Do not focus solely on the outward appearance of what is in front of you. If you stay in the feeling and listen to your interior guide you will know when the right people, ideas, and opportunities present themselves.

Be Ready If your dream assignment is going to Europe for a month, what do you need to do in order to be ready when your assignment manifests. If you have your own business, what work can you be doing if you are traveling and who back home can handle some of the other details for you? Will you need someone to house sit or take care of your pets? You don’t have to know all of the details as you will find the Universe will already be lining up the right people for you, but be ready to say “yes”, not “well not right now”, or “maybe some other time” when your opportunity arrives. You manifested it so don’t let it slip away.

Say Thank You Know that you created this dream assignment and you deserve it.  Soak it all in and take a moment to say thank you to God or the Universe for guiding and supporting you along the way. Gratitude creates more opportunity than all of the hard physical labor you could ever do. The best way to say thank you is to enjoy yourself and to share that joy with others while on your very own dream assignment.

If you follow all of these steps I know that you will create what your soul desires and I really look forward to hearing your story. Please share it with me by contacting me and let me know what dream assignment you manifested.

I love your post Tonya. I especially relate to “Stay in the feeling” and “White it down”. I think that staying in the feeling makes our desire stronger than our negative critic and overwrite twhatever is trying to get in your way of acheiving your dream assignment.

    Great share!

      Hi Nathalie,

Thank you! Yes!!! Staying in the feeling is so important. When you stay in that feeling place you are in the same vibration of what you want and therefore drawing it to you…and you to it.

I follow these steps all the time and it was a great reminder to continue to do so. So often we are not clear on what we want so how in the world can the Universe deliver it to us. Great article Tonya.

I loved the reminder that we can get boxed into our businesses even if they are our passion. Even just starting out I find myself being reminded to be open to other possibilities. Thanks!

      Hi Michele,
You’re welcome. Yes, it can happen to all of us. Even when we love what we do there are so many different ways that we can share it with the world.

Brilliant Tonya, and a great reminder for me to stay in the feeling and the power of thank you is never to be forgotten. I think I will write those points down today and use on several things i would like to manifest now :)

Yes, that is a good one! And the more you practice gratitude the more you receive. :)

“The people, circumstances, and events that are all part of your creation may come in ways you were never expecting.” Tonya, this rings SO true with me. Every coincidence that I have ever paid attention to has led me in unexpected, yet wonderful directions. I’ve manifested dreams through a random connection that I realize later presented itself at the EXACT moment that I needed it. Thx for reminding me to appreciate unexpected moments.

You’re very welcome Kimba. Those unexpected moments are amazing, there are no “coincidences” :)

Tonya, I love “write it down” and “say thank you” the most. Particularly saying thank you for the baby steps towards your goals. It’s very easy to go back onto the habit of only seeing how much you have to go to and not how much you’ve accomplished.

Thanks for this post, very inspiring!

      Hi Delia,

Yes, writing it down helps to get things into motion and saying thank you creates feelings of gratitude. The more grateful we are, the more we manifest! So glad you were inspired!
